Gonzaga Men’s basketball are preparing for a tough couple of games to start the season. They will be playing in the Fort Myers Tip-Off November 26 & 27.

The first game on November 26th will feature two big time programs, Gonzaga vs Kansas. These two teams are arguably the top two teams in the nation. What can we expect? A pretty darn good basketball game.

The whole country will be watching this game and it will feature a young Gonzaga Basketball team that is loaded with top recruits (Jalen Suggs, Dominick Harris, Julian Strawther, and Oumar Ballo). It will be interesting to watch how the young stars perform for Gonzaga, especially on a big stage they will be playing on.

Kansas did lose some players, but overall they have a pretty good mix of veteran and rookie players. They are hoping some of their players from last season will continue to improve and become quality players this season. The two players you may remember from last season is David McCormack and Ochai Agbaji, but sophomore guard Christian Braun is probably playing the best ball out of three right now in practice.

This first game should be a great matchup and both teams will probably have some rust to knock off this early in the season.

The second team Gonzaga will face in the Fort Myers Tip-Off is Auburn on November 27. This game should be a good game, as well. Auburn did quite well last year. They went 25-6 last season. This won’t be an easy game for Gonzaga, but will be interesting to see how well Auburn plays, especially since they did lose their best player from last year Samir Doughtry. Samir averaged 16.7 points a game for Auburn.

The Fort Myers Tip-Off should be a good start to the season, even though no fans will be in attendance. It appears the two Gonzaga games will be on Fox Sports.
